Calligraphy Workshops
If you’ve ever thought it might be fun to learn calligraphy, you’re right – it really is!
My workshops provide a relaxed introduction to the art of calligraphy, and an opportunity to spend time absorbed in something creative.
Using a traditional pointed nib dipped in ink, you’ll be guided through the foundational strokes of classic Copperplate script, learning how to shape and connect elegant lowercase letters. With its slow, flowing rhythm and gentle focus, calligraphy offers a relaxing experience and, by the end of the evening, you’ll have created your own hand-calligraphed gift tags to take home.
This beginner workshop is designed for relaxation, curiosity, and the simple joy of trying something new. No need for neat handwriting or any previous experience, everyone’s welcome. All materials will be provided.
